Open Source

Built in the open

Dusrel is built by an independent developer — and where possible, it is built in the open. Here is what that means.

What's open

The source code of this website — dusrel.com itself — is public on GitHub. You can read every line, see how the landing page is put together, and suggest improvements. Not every Dusrel app is open source, but we open what we can.

Our philosophy

Transparency by default

When code is public, there is nothing to hide. Open source keeps our privacy claims honest and checkable.

Community feedback

Ideas, bug reports and fixes from real users make the apps better than one person could alone.

Learning in public

Building in the open means every decision, mistake and fix is visible — useful for anyone learning to build.

How to contribute

  1. 1

    Pick something to improve

Browse the repository on GitHub. Found a typo, a bug, or an idea worth adding? That is your starting point.

  2. 2

Open an issue or a pull request

Open an issue to discuss it, or send a pull request directly if you already have the fix.

  3. 3

    Say hello

Prefer email? Write to [email protected] with your idea or feedback — every message gets read.

Like what you see? Give it a star.

A star on GitHub is the simplest way to support open work at Dusrel.
